My art and design practice centers on fiber, which I value above all else.
I focus on bringing out the inherent characteristics of materials and exploring the connection between humans and nature. I pay close attention to both the mysterious products of the natural world and synthetic fibers created using modern technology. I pursue fiber art while striking a balance between artistic expression and the original economic and creative value of the raw materials.
